Last week we had a visiting artist working with Robin class all day as part of our Arts Festival provision. The children learnt valuable techniques to bring comic ideas to life, with expressive faces and bodies as well as effective backgrounds.
Kestrel class took part in an Art workshop in preparation for the West London Arts festival. They designed and colored in their own alien characters.
Members of the school council at Castlebar visited us today and spent some time in Spring Cafe
Maple Class have been enjoying the topic of Transport. The children made pictures and models of trains using step by step instructions.

In Cedar class we have been doing lots of learning linked to our DT topic of exploring food. We have been exploring food as part of our literacy stories ; to help us follow instructions ; as part of our science 'plants' topic and our termly topic of colours.
Elm Class have been learning about the UK. They ended the week with a tea party! They prepared jam sandwiches, decorated cupcakes and made crowns for the occasion. They also enjoyed hot chocolate with their afternoon tea 🧁 🫖 #foodtech #geography #history
