We broke ground on our 44-unit ED1 project at 11418 Missouri Ave-Sands off Sawtelle. Construction will be 4 stories of Type V over a slab on grade. At kickoff, Sands off Sawtelle is one of the few 100% affordable projects to break ground in a high-resource neighborhood.

Really exiting ED 1 news: 11418 Missouri in Sawtelle has broken ground! This was the project that was facing a CEQA appeal that could have derailed all of ED 1. It’s also the first ED 1 project to break ground in a high-resource area! Congrats to @stevenscheibe & team

The electrical inspector on one of our construction sites wants us to get a supplemental permit for exit lighting when the architectural plans already have them, and all MEP & architectural plans were approved and stamped by the city. $1,400 to replicate plans and submit I ❤️ LA
