When I joined The Guardian, Europe traffic was reported under ‘rest of the world’. Once Graham Tackley added EU to the report, we saw how FR/DE had our most engaged audiences outside the UK. We asked to launch an EU edition pre-Brexit. The rest is history. theguardian.com/gnm-press-offi…

I don't know if this is a troll or not, but with all apologies to my many wonderful, highly skilled "Architect" friends, I tend to think it's a bullshit role. 🙃 I believe that only the people building software systems get to have opinions on how those systems get built.

I worked at Facebook when we had 200 employees I’ve never understood why FB needs 20,000 employees. And less so the 70,000 employees Meta has now @elonmusk’s Twitter layoffs are appropriate Unfortunate, but appropriate These businesses just don’t require that many people
