Given many logging systems are still mostly dealing with plaintext strings, and even with structured logging, you’re pretty much shoving strings + some metadata in a json blob, it’d be disappointing not to have some LLM assistant to get answers from logs in the future.

Much of infrastructure engineering is about data, TBH: - storage systems - monitoring tools - data warehouses Usage of all these tools has been dependent on how effectively the data can be queried. More human friendly query interfaces will be the next frontier in infra eng.
