@JohnCleese Thanks for the information; live in West Yorkshire but pass here when visiting my in laws and had thought of trying the restaurant. I’ll not bother#what the eyes don’t see the chef gets away with.

This supposedly a 4* international hotel. This morning at breakfast, no cereal, a toaster behind a counter, the only hot option is yesterday’s vegetables. Utterly appalling.

@garethicke Have you seen the struggles trying to get it re opened as a cycle route. I remember it as a child, you could explore it along with the long gone viaduct opposite.

@PureGym @timroe74 I joined Halifax when it first opened, signed a lifetime price deal. Today my app says my membership has expired and to rejoin?? Please explain. A genuine glitch Or a cynical attempt to hike up my monthly fee. Sincerely hope not. Please elaborate.

@PureGym I have been a member since Halifax gym opened many years ago. I signed a lifetime deal & price. Today my app shows this. Why?? Is it a glitch or a deliberate ploy making it look like I cancelled my membership to hike the price up.
