5:24pm UPDATE: Can't totally rule out another random storm this evening over NWA/River Valley, but, chance is QUITE LOW. More robust instability is trying to work in, but, the large complex of storms S of us is now aiding in overall subsidence over our region. #arwx #okwx

4:07pm UPDATE: A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for a big chunk of Washington/Benton counties. Mainly a damaging wind concern, with some 1/2" to 1" hail possible. Stay in doors as this comes thru. Moving fast to the NNE (at 65mph) #arwx #okwx

2:32pm UPDATE: A Tornado Watch has been issued for all of E Oklahoma, thru 9pm. The greater risk is there, & no AR counties are included ... but, definitely wouldn't let my guard down in western AR just yet. We'll be watching the whole area closely thru this evening #arwx #okwx

IMPORTANT UPDATE: SPC has UPGRADED most of NWA/River Valley to ENHANCED risk of severe storms. This is because confidence is now a little higher the instability to our S will have opportunity to spread N into our area later in the afternoon/eve. Watching it closely #arwx #okwx

11:01am UPDATE: Watching another batch of storms moving thru. No warnings for now. Looks like the boundary along which these storms are forming stays put today. We'll be watching to see if things destabilize enough by afternoon/evening for more robust severe weather #arwx #okwx

8:25am UPDATE: A line of intense storms is now moving thru NWA/River Valley. Strong winds are the primary concern for now. But, we'll have to watch for strengthening. We'll be on the look-out for more spotty severe storms this afternoon/eve as well. Watching closely #arwx #okwx

Nonsense. -On-air news folks have been scuttling between tv stations within the same market for a long time. What data is there to show it matters how much time between moves? -Promotions depts are highly adaptable -If wages go any lower, there will be no local news anyway
