#Ravens WR Rashod Bateman was set to earn $2.4m in 2024. His new deal almost doubles that number ($4.5m) and the sides added a year in 2026 at $9.5m, source says. A unique situation because he lost a credited season by not showing for the start of camp last year, as Jeff notes.
Factoring in his new 2-year extension, Ravens WR Rashod Bateman is now set to earn a base value of $15.25M over the next three seasons. He has an additional escalator for 2026 of $1.5M that brings the max value of the deal to $16.75M.
Per CBA: "A player shall not receive an Accrued Season for any League Year in which the player is under contract to a Club and in which he failed to report to the Club’s preseason training camp on that player’s mandatory reporting date." So Bateman would have been an RFA next yr
But that's a moot point now. He's under contract through 2026 and the Ravens have a lot of belief that he's in line for a very good year.
