Biggest joke at JAI (Jaipur) with @IndiGo6E as I watch a fellow passenger with 3 x tickets who are well below 45 kgs told they need to re-adjust weights of 3 bags as one bag is 19 kgs ! (Which was the same bags they took And then we see a shouting match emerge … @IndiGo6E , fix this situation & do better

#4: In "blue wall" states of PA, MI , WI & MN - Democrats saw a vote count drop of ~2-3% while Republicans saw a ~4% vote increase

@zerohedge Worthwhile to review the actual vote count state by state to make sense of the 2020 vote count v/s 2024 data. See below state by state vote data with few key conclusions: #1: Vote count seems awry as California is still at only 59% (table at end)

My experience in the early days of HFT A story. In 1995 the best new hire I ever made in my career invented a high frequency trading statistical arbitrage model that traded every stock in the SPX. We put it to work in markets. It was phenomenal 5ish sharp ratio but unscaleable

Andy @dampedspring has been a leading view on Treasury quarterly refunding trends - easily one of the sharpest minds out there Nice thread on how he sees bills share % rising but NOT positive for markets overall

Really good thread on Repo market’s move to central clearing (starting 2026) & its risks to leverage within the system & mispricing

Conks @conksresearch

A new centrally cleared era in repo markets is looming, which will cause an exodus from its shadowy yet most systemic regions. This may increase resiliency but also inhibit key trades gluing U.S. Treasury markets together. The Repo Leverage Squeeze™ is here... 1/

This is the CEO of the largest bank in the world (mkt cap) - JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon praises Prime Minister Modi for his achievements in India. He talks about how tough it has been to lift the country and when some of western liberal media beats him down .. we don't hv the right to lecture him

Gold’s rally (since Mar’24) is intriguing given it is also in backdrop of (i) lower rate cuts expectations (now at 2-3 v/s 6-7 at start of year) & (ii) “sticky” inflation concerns even though real rates still ~2% Feels like a risk off moment as “dry powder” of liquidity being built up (just like RRP) which eventually gets unleashed when animal spirits return when the 1st rate cut happens. With no negative surprise from the quarterly treasury refunding expected, one last hoorah in the making for equities in 2H24 me say. Bull-run coming. “Ready for take-off” #AJsays #gold #GLD #bitcoin #equities #bullrun #RRP @dampedspring @josephwang @JackFarley96 @LynAldenContact

Fun Fact : MOVE Index (Bond volatility) fell below 90 in late Mar’24; first time here since Jan’22. VIX1D (1 day volatility index) also hit its lowest level since inception. With FED expected to lower rates can we see another leg-down for volatility? @volatility @equities @Moveindex @VIX @spotgamma @dampedspring @josephwang @JackFarley96 @LynAldenContact @aRishisays
