@TheChiefNerd "Confidence" as a gauge of whether a new law or regulation needs to be written. Real confidence comes from knowing what's going to happen. Yet no one really knows what's going to happen in every detail. Who or what's going to assess "confidence." Laws are written for the unwise.

@TailThatWagsDog More books like that now, too, where A.I. likely wrote 80% or more of them. Fairly obvious in its "tells," from gross overuse of negative contrast to extremely polished sentence structure. Yet the publisher / "author" charges full retail, as if it were original prose / high art.

Ideas are born of thought. "What's happening" includes, but transcends thought and ideas about it. "What's happening" is nothing you can think about in the moment. That's the act of seeing. Looking is a thought seeking an idea about what's happening. Action -> Thought -> Idea

@Trader_Dante Living in the moment or trading in the zone is "seeing." Living in the past or future is "looking," which elicits a desire to live in the moment, then. Something happened and will happen. That's all you can "think" about in the moment. The point of thinking is to develop an idea.
