I think this is correct. If the AI CEOs are right, and their products cause the type of catastrophe that they have been warning about, they should go to jail. The idea that they had to race with each other, or China, cannot be an excuse.
if AI companies' products start to hurt people, their executives should be prosecuted and put in prison. We've really just totally lost sight of the idea that CEOs should be subject to criminal laws, the idea being that they only get "regulated," never jailed. Time to end that.
I think gas prices x 2 is a fairly decent heuristic for this year’s generic ballot. $4 gas = ~ D+8. $4.50 gas = ~D+9 $5 gas = D +10 Right now gas is 4.33 nationally. That almost perfectly matches the D +~9 NYT/Siena generic ballot.
