Im sick today, so I've been rewatching the LOTR series. I noticed that in The Two Towers, there's a through-line i never caught before: Remember who you are. Smeagol, Theoden, and Gandalf. Then, in a big way, Aragorn, which leads us to his arc in Return of the King.
