@GAPSyndrome Of course it is !! I won't treat flus and colds and gastric flus - they are all cleansing !
@foxinthemist Yes, absolutely. And the more imprecise and "unreasonable" (not an easily definable reason) the source of the depression, the worse it is... Lots of Light to you. E.
I think traditional psychotherapy has/should have a lot to give - but they are often so "academic", "monopolistic" and a bit "superior". I often get those people who traditional therapies have failed...
@stefkaufman @photon_barrier I'm a shamanic and IFS therapist and of course therapists aren't neutral! In my shamanic practice, I work from a semi-alternative state of consciousness where I attempt to leave my agendas and problems. But even in IFS, half my work is to discern when MY parts are activating.
A bit on the same principle as: The only good candidate to be President or Prime Minister is the one... who doesn't want to be. If you want to be President, you almost certainly aren't the right person to be so.
Modern marketers are all into teaching skills to people just "beneath" them on that particular skill. My guess is that those who believe they have nothing to teach others... probably do. And those who believe they have something to teach others (for money)... probably don't.
@RichardRohrOFM @brianmclaren I couldn't access the article... The "problem" with the Bible is more people's use of it: there is a lot of "stuff" in there, much can be or is contradictory. People grab onto the couple of sentences they already believed beforehand and say: There you go! The Bible says so.
@ImranKhanPTI I don't know what "Ghulami NaManzoor!" means. But I can probably guess. All Light possible to you and your country.
Recalling Fidel Castro's concluding remarks from his historic speech at his trial in 1953. So apt in our situation today in Pakistan.
@emanabdelhadi And all those people who have over 1,000 unread emails...?
@markmanson It probably means getting off Twitter-X, as well.
@laurenancona My mother-in-law who's in a wheelchair went to a modern "posh" hotel. Building, about 4-5 years old. She booked a "handicap" room. She couldn't get in and out of bed alone. Nor go to the wc. And in the bathroom she put her weight on the basin and it came away from the wall!
@mightbeautistic I exchange therapy sessions (one week her, one week me) with an autistic #IFS therapist. I am not autistic (but have other particularities): I am sure that it is her autism as well that allows us to be so useful and so in touch with each other. She's brilliant.
@hi_its_annaleah "Especially without spoons"...??? I agree: a "crisis" corresponds for most people to an "acute" state... Whereas, many of us/you/them suffer from a "Latent" crisis. Difficult to identify. Difficult to "justify". Actually, this latency is as tough if not tougher... In peace
@AhmadRehanKhan @jill_d35 @ReadReadj You only know what the pharmaceutical industry sells you. Don't try contradicting - it's pure fact. You believe what they sell : you don't even know what's in the medication in any sort of detail.
@RocksoRoxo @sweatystartup A pertinent and rather sad point. Thanks. I think phones are a huge issue. I wrote about it just a week ago: eric-callcut.beehiiv.com/p/scroll-die
@cwbybb @sweatystartup I don't believe so: I have heard of many men being addicted to video games...
@bethanyjbabcock @sweatystartup I do believe phones as of themselves are addictive...
@sweatystartup Just phones are addictive... ! eric-callcut.beehiiv.com/p/scroll-die
