Became a 60+ page tutorial with exercises. It's one of my favorite papers.
@famulare_mike @IDMOD_ORG @gatesfoundation Some work that I did while at @IDMOD_ORG would have been hard to do in academic settings: - EoN (Epidemics on Networks): a fast, flexible Python package for simulation, analytic approximation, and analysis of epidemics on networks Lots of places used this early in the pandemic.
My workplace @IDMOD_ORG, now an intramural research institute in the @gatesfoundation, prettymuch follows this model. I can’t speak for everyone, but it’s been wonderful for me and great for my science. W/o it, I would probably be teaching high school instead. We need more of it!
