@Aidan_Baron As a paramedic that had OR rotations, I found it extremely competitive with CRNA students, making it difficult to have a productive learning experience. Realist sim was not beneficial with real life intubations

32 year old man found unconscious on floor next to couch. Friend reported he had injected IV "Ritalin". Medics found BP 240/130, HR 42, pupils dilated/fixed. ETT placed. On arrival became hypotensive, HR 68, A-fib, apnea. Needle tracks in ACF and over saphenous. Priapism noted.

@obese_to_beast This is a good representation of what we deal with daily and the low wages are pretty much everywhere. The high turnover rate is due to burn out, ptsd and not being able to take care of their families.
