Ummm.... This study seems to show that the shoe-stiffening carbon plates make elite distance runners faster, but either doesn't help or may even decrease running economy in the recreational runners! buff.ly/3DQ7akx

An interesting read on the role of macrophages on tendinopathy and tendon healing. The M1 macrophage has a pro inflammatory action and is present in the early days of a tendon injury. The M2 macrophage helps resolve inflammation and rebuild the tendon. buff.ly/3s2zLMH

Barefoot running doesn't quite have the buzz of 10 years ago, but you still see some barefoot runners in Sheffield. This latest study shows it does increase the demand on your tendons and muscles - whether this is good or bad is another matter! buff.ly/3CwGQKj
