@illseer as other people have said, there is a decent chance if you bring this up they will fix it. Now is your chance to forever be able to look at silver's gun and be like, I helped with that

@slime_machine @HawkboneFGC they also invented the battle pass. Legit pioneers in the field of farming gamers for money, there is a reason they employed a chief economist for a while

@Panonymous3 @heromedley yeah if she had been a grafitti artist character instead of a painter it would be more interesting

@Shiro_Rz the corrupted items are a way for them to test changing items and seeing what effects it has on winrate. No way it will be a permanent thing but its such a smart idea for beta and Im sure it will come back for a limited time for years to come

@Scorch052 theyre gonna add a pve mode and then everyone who likes the vibe can play that. rn they are focusing on this mode because this is the kind of mode people will actually play for longer than a month

@AnsonexDL think about it, you get a way to test what impact different stats on different items have on their winrates. Im sure they got a ton of great data

@Fimbulv @Mawhwile x.com/MlNESWEEPER/st… here is a post by a known leaker guy (who isnt exactly right about dates but has seemed to be in the know). Who knows it could be scrapped but I sure fucking hope its not!!

It's real and it's 1:1 Risk of Rain, it's on a new map (maps?) super early along tho. Wouldn't be done for months. Kill waves of mobs to get money, use that money to open boxes & get items, and then when you're strong enough you can do the shrine

@Fimbulv @Mawhwile so a ton of people on Hopoo games, the guys who made RoR1 and 2 (including the creators), all joined valve like 2 years ago. Now this is all rumors/leakers claiming stuff still, but apparently they are internally testing a PVE mode and its basically risk of rain

@thorstenball I think unit tests are the exact opposite, and will become even more important. The whole reason coding LLMs work so well is because they can iterate and test due to feedback from tests (as opposed to writing, where there is no "your article sucks" test)

@TheStalwart I think it’s the exact opposite. AI threatens to turn labor into a capital expense, the profits from which will flow to those at the top. It’s like the most anti worker tech in a while. pretty clear where the “party of workers and labor” will stand on it

@Krelivane @Warcraft @WarcraftDevs @wowclassicdevs Modern Wow is a seasonal game now, but that's good. The days of people playing one game nonstop all the time is over, people move around to new stuff. Being able to hop back on wow when a new patch releases and catch up without being locked to it is amazing!

@TheStalwart the logic of "well thered be a big outcry if they did this so they didn't do it" with regards to using researcher prompt data seems incredibly flimsy. It would be one thing if an LLM solved it whole cloth, but using a good intuition as a start helps narrow the search space a lot

@fireshoes can you post the list somewhere? I was thinking of building this list but ouroboroids were too expensive, without em it appeals a lot more!
