This would be okay. But it would be better to teach social understanding, which includes game theory. Also game theory is "theory", it needs practical real world understanding.

You're right. But a better way of understanding teaching is this. The important thing in teaching children is to teach them to understand the objects or events represented by the words. Words are symbols, visual or verbal, of objects or events.
