Again I come up against an enduring mystery of Life. I needed an old school 6v bulb for my 1946 motorcycle rear light and one for a spare. After searching Gawler with no success I turned to eBay. Individually $8 per bulb. But for $13.86 I could get 15 of them, sigh.

@SandyHorne61 @LiangRhea I think I heard a spokesperson say they built the specialist room to fit the proton machine. The contract went sour. They looked at another brand but it wouldn't fit 😕. So I think they're still negotiating but the company now has them over a barrel.

@stationmum101 @ArableSam It's not an electrical insulator I've seen in SA being a ETSA linesman. The P and T is like Gillian said a postal and telegraph. Still an insulator as the phone lines are electric but built robust (over engineered) to handle the long lines and conditions.

@noplaceforsheep Poor Penny. The Strait of Hormuz is territorial waters. No different to the Investigator Strait in South Australia her home town. Probably the same width. Good on Iran for being a good world citizen and letting oil ships freely pass until poked.
