@TIME I’m a widow and don’t see my family at all but this tweet has shown me ,the situation is the same for me. Just because my husband died it hasn’t taken away that I was part of a twosome and a seven-some. The memories good and bad of the years are still mine. Live the life you have

@JaneyGodley I was one of the ‘blind’ decorators. In the 60’s. I was convinced that this carpet was the height of fashion. One good thing about the carpet was when we had parties , cigarette ash and beer spillage disappeared into the melee of colours. 😳😱

@MetroBank_Help I never did get my £100 back last September.I know the ‘ managers ‘ name. She didn’t even ask my name, just practically shoved me out the door. I said that when she counted up the money after closing the bank would have £100 extra. There aren’t Metro Banks where I live now.T.G.

@horseart1 So sorry. Re-reading my silly effort I realise it sounds stupid, I meant to imply the dogs were thinking ‘Do we have to go home?’ I was taught that if you have to explain the title then it is the wrong title.

@SoVeryBritish I was waiting on a parcel. The delivery van stopped outside, As I got to the door ,the card dropped in the letterbox.I opened the door and shouted. He came back, said the bell wasn’t working.I pressed it. It was. How had he written the card as he was walking up the path.

@deelomas I went to the hospital for my appointment. The car park though small has disabled parking places. I have a Blue Badge.Later,I went back to my car , pressed my key fob and nothing. Tried again, no, tried the key. Then I remembered, I had parked near the entrance because I was late

@ahmedhankir My adult son had a stroke and changed for the worse. We can’t correct him. He said he was carrying the tv when he dropped it. He fell onto it when having the stroke. He ate his lunch and left a little. Do you want to finish it? No, and verbal abuse followed for 30 mins.

@ElimuAnn @MrPipHunter @CatOnTheFridge @George__Koch @fesshole Yes, I married a widower with 3 kids. Paid the reduced stamp so didn’t get any maternity pay.I had to work , we needed the money. The firm was Halls , Paddock Wood , until I was 38 wks pregnant. I suffered morning (to evening ) sickness the whole time.

@deelomas When I drop something, I look at it, assess its size then kick it under the sofa.

@John25651370 @sam__avery I moved to Roquetas de Mar , Spain permanently last year after wintering here for my health for several years. I live right opposite the Marina. Sea breezes help but even the locals say ‘ demisiado caliente ‘ and ‘ mucho calor’.

@SoVeryBritish I wish Sally Gottschalk could have seen this. She would have written You can't park there.
