@LCWF_TBK What a great use of £12m from the DfE!!! 🙄 Absolutely ridiculous, especially in families who have more than one child in primary!

11 year old just now sorting out school bag and asking what to do with their books on the Queen that came back from school ‘they could have given every school HEPA filters with a picture of the Queen on instead, would have been more useful.’ Yes it would.

@Matthew46831914 @adamski1964 @Ariel_Adam @EdRoundtables Why don't you explain what point you're trying to make? That would be helpful!

@Wigtixfan @Ariel_Adam @From_the_hook @adamski1964 @EdRoundtables How is this comment saying pull the ladder up? It literally says join together and help each other! 🙄😳 What do you do? Why do you think you can't join a union? Why do you think you can't fight for a decent wage?

@adamski1964 @Ariel_Adam @EdRoundtables Teachers had a pay freeze for 8 years. Then years of rises of between 1 and 2%. In total teachers have had a real terms pay cut of 20% since 2010. On average they earn 25% less than other graduates. Why should they accept that? They enable the future, it should be an investment!

@Wigtixfan @Ariel_Adam @From_the_hook @adamski1964 @EdRoundtables It's not a race to the bottom! Why don't you feel inspired by them, build a union in your workplace, ask for the pay rise you deserve 🤷‍♀️Why say teachers are moaning, they aren't, they're standing up for themselves which is what ASLEF, BA, CWU and Royal Mail are all doing too!

Dear parents, you will have seen that the government has awarded teachers a pay rise. Unfortunately, what they haven't told you is this. The government aren't paying for it, your children are.

How's the temperature in your place of work looking today? These are temperatures recorded in Birmingham classrooms! 30 bodies all squeezed in to a room with limited ventilation. @educationgovuk how is this a safe or reasonable learning environment? @cyclingkev @JamesCleverly

@suemonkman29 @MrsSmanwar @mariafawcett1 Not really. The last week is about emotional learning. Having fun together, reflecting on the year they've had, looking ahead to what's coming, team building, independent skills, some do cooking, trips, craft, art ... the stuff kids value and need but not what Ofsted want to see!

"This pay award is wholly inadequate and represents the worst of all worlds – a substantial real-terms pay cut for the majority of teachers which will worsen teacher shortages...." Our full response to teachers’ pay award bit.ly/3uV0wVp

@chrisdysonHT @educationgovuk Thank you for being so honest and so brave for your staff and kids! 💗 The DfE have shown us over and over again that they know nothing and can not be trusted with the health of our kids and staff!
