I suspect that the distribution of chats people are having with ChatGPT is quite different when they're not making content to share on the internet.
I enjoyed watching this. Fantastic pedagogical style on a profound class of problems combining stat phys with computation. I admire how well Lenka has bridged that gap and argues its significance.

Transformer meta-learns to predict y*=f(X,y,x*) directly. But prediction is a forward pass through a T, so quite heavy. Curious to do the math to find the break-even point for using such a model. But I like the idea; it reminds me of NPs (or is this basically what it is?)
