You’re going to have to accept that there is no “winning” with your narcissistic family. They will have “their narrative” and you will have YOUR truth.
Your narc family is not happy when they see you progressing after you’ve left them. They HATE you for it. They’ll like your posts or keep finding ways to keep tabs on you but it’s only because they want to let YOU know they’re still in the shadows watching you. They’re weirdos.
Your narcissistic mother HAS to lie to herself about who your abusive father is. She can’t admit she married her OWN version of HER abusive father. It’s the very thing she hated her neglectful mother for. And she refuses to admit that she just repeated the cycle.
Narc families don’t accept that they live in a cursed dynamic. There’s a lot of dark demonic activities they’re all involved in. Yet when they come around others they try to disguise themselves as light. B/c they have nothing else to stand on, THIS is all they can hide behind.
Narcissistic families don’t believe in outgrowing toxicity. They think if you’re born into chaos you just have to live like that for the rest of your life. They believe you just have to accept the bondage.
In a narcissistic family you’re taught to care about everybody else’s feelings. Yours will never matter to them. Especially as a woman because narcissists are FILLED with misogyny. They truly believe women are less than.
There’s so much lying that goes on in narc families about everything being “okay” & “normal”. Yet the second someone doesn’t play along the knives come out & people get to acting really evil. There’s no limit to how far someone will go just to feel justified in their evil doing.
Living in constant abuse is the lowest way to live as a human being.
There is NO logic in narc families. Just blind obedience and compliance to dysfunction. Chaos is supposed to be “normal”. And abuse is supposed to “love”. You’re supposed to overlook everything because of everything else that’s been given to you. Yet you’re being abused.
In narc families they’re only focused on what you did to pull away from them. They never want to look at ALL at what they did to make you finally leave.
It sucks being born into an abusive family because they don’t care how low they have to go to get you to act the way they want. They never see you as individual you’re just property to them. You’re not allowed to heal. You’re not allowed to grow.
Childhood trauma isn't just about what happened; it's also about what didn't happen.

Childhood trauma isn't just about what happened; it's also about what didn't happen.
Some sleep hygiene suggestions can be helpful. And, we're not gonna sleep hygiene our way out of a flashback. Screens at night might be less harmful than being alone in the dark & quiet w/ our trauma memories.
GOSSIPING COVERT NARC FAMILY = CLASSLESS
Narcissist parents will withhold teaching their kids life skills or lessons because they don’t want to make life any easier on their kids, they want their kids dependent on them for help or answers. Their objective is to feel “better than” or “smarter than”, or to remain…
The #narcissist will make it sound like they’ve done so much for you, but if you really think about it and look at what they’ve done, you’ll see they’ve done as little as they could get away with, at best.
Don't argue with a narcissist. You get angry, and the narcissist enjoys it.
Narcissists will not be okay with you doing anything that makes you harder to control and manipulate. That is why they will isolate you from people who care about you, discourage you from establishing boundaries, and belittle you for trusting your own perception and intuition.

There are some hellish experiences too severe for people to believe or understand, & that's okay. The things I survived are not unheard of, but they are very extreme. I know that people care, even if they do not know how bad the truth really is. I lived through it. I am here.

The enemy didn’t tempt Adam and Eve to steal, lie, or murder. He tempted them to question the word of God. His tactics haven’t changed.
If a man claims to protect women, he wouldn't place them in harms way.
I wish enablers were as adamant about accountability for the people who continually hurt others, as they are demanding that the people who’ve been hurt, forgive.
folks mad they can't project onto you. folks mad they cant micromanage your energy. folks mad you are something else than what they see you as. folks mad you not finicky and stand on what ya truth is. folks mad you don't gotta please them to be connected or move forward.
The enablers, apathetic “friends”, and flying monkeys who side with your abuser, shift blame onto you, or downplay your experiences and feelings are abusers as well.
