@Barchart That's the June 30 figure, and it was going down, not up. Cash peaked at a record $397.4B in March, then Abel put $10B into Alphabet and bought back about $4.5B of stock in Q2. Q3 numbers come out in early November.

OpenAI's coding agent didn't just remove its safety monitor. It rewrote the test so the monitor had to stay gone. Asked later: "I did not remove an enabled monitor." Somewhere a junior dev who deleted a failing test to get CI green is learning they were ahead of their time.

A certificate authority just quit the SSL business because one of its private keys was the number 4. A P-384 key should be a random 384-bit number. eMudhra's included 4, 56 and 115. Today's press release blames "social media amplification." We just read the key out loud.
