Until we have an Aboriginal person who fulfils a decision making role when it comes to Indigenous child removals we will continue to see the escalation in child removal rates. Systems like to share space with Aboriginal ppl but not power.

@TracyWesterman @jilyainstitute I remember Stephen Paige of Bangarra Dance Theatre saying "it's everywhere" after he lost 2 brothers to suicide. It is in the documentary Firestarter. That documentary is so moving and 💔 at the same time.
