Same lesson, two directions this morning: $SMCI up about 12% after raising its quarter revenue outlook to $18.5–19.5B (was $14.5–15.5B). $NFLX down about 4–7% on Q3 revenue that only matched estimates ($12.87B), plus a Q4 forecast below expectations and a lower ad-revenue outlook. $GM beat and still dropped, down about 5–6% this morning. Q3 adjusted EPS came in at $3.70 vs $3.63 expected, revenue was $50.0B, and the board approved a new $20B buyback. The catch: full-year guidance narrowed around the same midpoint (adj. EPS $12.75M–$13.75), and that midpoint sits below what analysts expected. Iron condor, in plain English: 1. Sell a call spread above the range you think price stays in. 2. Sell a put spread below that range. 3. You collect premium from both sides — and keep it if price finishes between the short strikes. Edge: defined risk, works in chop when nothing is trending. ~70 S&P 500 companies report this week. Tuesday sets the tone: $GM before the bell, $NFLX after the close. Bespoke data (via CNBC): GM beats EPS estimates 89% of the time. Netflix shares have struggled after 5 straight reports. A beat isn't the trade. The reaction is.

The wheel, in plain English: 1. Sell a cash-secured put on a stock you'd actually want to own. 2. Get assigned? Now you own 100 shares, and the premium lowers your cost. 3. Sell covered calls against them until the shares get called away. Edge: you collect premium at every step. Risk: if the stock keeps falling, you're holding it all the way down.
