@branthansen @Ev_deGallery Because He never promised to deliver us from the earthly consequences of our sins (although sometimes He might). It seems to me that people often miss the fact that there are multiple vectors of offense after a crime and that's why they get all tied up in knots 3/

@branthansen @gregorynorfleet I think the remarkable part is that she was able to do it so soon and so publicly. But man, has that been a witness to people.

@NavalAirHistory @agammamon @robo_tabby oxfordshireguardian.co.uk/oxford-15-minu… Note the section on permits. Worded very innocently. But once the government starts handing out permits for when and where you can drive, it will not stop.

@LadyChessington I had Frodo neutered last year when his buddy died so that I could get a sow. The procedure itself went well but both incisions got infected and he had to be on several meds for a couple of months. Huge headache! But I have a sweet sow as his buddy now.

@hingeguysbelike I'm concerned about his interest in exiting helicopters, bouts, and boons. I mean, he does mention skydiving but doing it from a helicopter or a hot air boon is a little different. And then you have the bouts, so I hope he's a good swimmer. (Can't type this with a straight face.)

@branthansen Ugh. It's not quite that bad here but I did see a house with an inflatable jack-in-the-box that read Pop Goes the Evil. 🤮

@ProfEmilyOster @TheAtlantic Nope. Some of us didn't do anything related to COVID that we now feel ashamed about. Telling yourself that everyone else is just as guilty as you are will not fix anything. Acknowledging what you did wrong and repenting of it will.

@Ben_G_IA23 @ZubyMusic @sam_stoughton32 @ProfEmilyOster @TheAtlantic This. Forgiveness does not mean restoration of trust. It also doesn't mean absence of consequences.

@LloydLegalist Unfortunately, this is the state of things now. It's impossible to tell when something is parody because so much that should be parody is quite sincere. I do appreciate your clarification.
