Within the space of 10 days: A teenage boy was stabbed to death in Hainault. A boy was shot dead in Dagenham. A man stabbed in Bethnal Green. A teenage boy stabbed in Tottenham. A woman in her 60s stabbed to death in Edgware. @SadiqKhan when does this “safer” London start?
@Copper_Nitrate_ We havent got a choice mate , If we got tied up with our emotions we'd only be able to do half a shift 😅
@Brick_Cop never seems to amaze me how out of touch they really are, id like to see them on response for a shift, then see the real changes happen!!
@ElonMuskAOC @RadioGenoa why cut out the part where he gets tasered and they all jump on him & detain him? Plus this video was years ago before most officer carried taser
@Brick_Cop @metpoliceuk Cancelling our rest days on response policing week because the OI is too high 😂🤦🏻♂️
@VintageRetro666 @SuffolkPolice A-Roads (dual carriageways) are open to vulnerable road users, I.e Cyclists!
@RGPolice Would be good if you recognised transferee's from the UK, with pay scales/skills etc.. It probably saves you money trying to train new recruits!
@AyoCaesar you wont condem non whites, thats your issue! if it was a white male predominately committing these crimes you'd be tweeting all over the place
@Nero_Hunde We've seen the VCTF take **SOME** calls, but we are still not seeing the effects of Op stabilise!
@BustingCrimes Everything is, literally, taking 10 times longer than usual. Expected with a new system though.
@ACLouisaRolfe @theJeremyVine @AndyCoxDCS @MikeyCycling @ACLouisaRolfe Can you at least back your officers and not publicly undermine them on twitter? This is what is wrong with the SLT , No trust . Throw us all straight under the bus for everyone to see .
@MayorofLondon you are useless and have no respect for the police or normal working Londoners .
@NPASLondon Excellent job, love hearing NPAS being proactive especially in EA!
@specials_101 Theres probably only 5 units available , for the I grades... METCC will assign you an all shift S grade which will then tie us up for the outstanding I grades
@SeanNeal77 @Foxtrot_0scar @MetPoliceEvents blame the government budget, lack of social care & mental heath support (which causes everyone to call 999 for the police) , its not really the mets fault
Here's the thing .. We don't actually need more police officers In fact, we could probably cope with fewer .. If .. Councils and Mental Health services functioned properly, demand on police would drop by at least half, some say significantly more .. Go figure ..
@MindCharity You have now lost the respect of all Police Officers in this country by posting personal views on an active police investigation. How can you call yourself a Blue light charity?
Being a firearms officer in London is one of the world's toughest jobs. Officers - volunteers - know the responsibility/accountability that comes with it and deserve our support. Ill-informed commentary from those in positions of power following any tragic incident is unwarranted
Tonight as I was on duty, I heard the following circulation over the radio “All units standby, London Bridge has fallen down, London Bridge has fallen down. Standby for further direction, Met control out.” Made me a bit emotional.
