Sick of working my ass off for 💩 pay. Sick of constantly having a sky high work load. Sick of feeling like I'm constantly watched for someone to pounce on a mistake. Sick of not actually being able to do the job I joined for. I think im out. I hear train drivers earn good money!

I work damn hard for a relatively modest wage. My wife works part-time due to childcare/health, & we get a UC top-up — just about getting by. Yet many I deal with daily wouldn't know a hard days work if it slapped them & still afford luxuries. Frustrating doesn't even come close!

Yes, he did wrong, but it raises the longstanding issue of poor police pay. Particularly to probationers. If officers were properly paid, then he wouldn't need a business interest. I would imagine the ref work isn't much more than the fuel to get there! bbc.com/news/articles/…
