#Chicago (O'Hare) has reached a high of 85° degrees so far this afternoon, breaking the previous record high of 84° which was set back in 2008. Temperatures could still warm a bit over the next hour or two, so we will send out another tweet with the final record high later.
An extreme wind warning is in effect for Pensacola FL, Navarre FL, Ferry Pass FL until 8:45 PM CDT for extremely dangerous hurricane winds. Treat these imminent extreme winds as if a tornado was approaching and move immediately to an interior room or shelter NOW!

Tropical Storm #Isaias's pressure is down to 994 mb - the lowest for an Atlantic named storm so far this year. 994 mb is not a particularly low pressure... it highlights just how quiet the Atlantic season has been to date!

Here is the latest Google Deepmind 1k member ensemble guidance. It is pretty dead set on Isaias making landfall in the Florida Panhandle. Nearly all members reach hurricane strength and 65% of which reach major hurricane strength. At landfall, a little over 50% of members make landfall at hurricane strength which is a bit of an increase from past runs. So far with this system, Deepmind has taken the W in my opinion.

Good first flight into #Polo today. The pressure had fallen pretty quickly, but it looks like the core is still working out some kinks. Almost looks like an eyewall replacement cycle although it's a bit early in the process for that. Once the core is established I expect we'll see more extreme intensification tonight and tomorrow.
