@SarahAndreccf @DeadlineDayLive that’s why INEOS need to be given some leeway. They have to walk a fine line between making the club viable long term and spending like a big club It’s similar to when Barca revealed the size of their debt a few years back and had to let Messi go, couldn’t register players etc

@nevilletaylor71 @DeadlineDayLive To be fair, the glazers are the problem. They dumped the £1b debt they used to buy the club onto the books and were failing to properly invest, esp. in the ground. INEOS are now trying to walk a fine line between spending like a big club and bringing the debt under control

@tonka9754 @KissMaBahooky @Amos52100 @OccupyDemocrats @BBC I think I have it - make him pay it in property. Golf courses and hotels, starting with those closest to the opposing party (I.e. his UK & Ireland courses)

@thespursweb Time to make clubs set sensors into their tech area boundaries - maybe allow a 2 ft buffer - which alerts the ref if the manager/coaches leave the area.

@KissMaBahooky @Amos52100 @OccupyDemocrats @BBC Translation: he’ll pay with taxpayer funds somehow, and argue that it was rigged because they were demanding he take time from “matters of national importance” Seriously, he should be made to forfeit the case, cover legal costs AND pay the BBC the amount he was seeking

@ERnurse8282 @Dimz_Jay @PolymarketFC Red cartel? Hardly! Let’s just say for all your money, Pep hardly ever beat us…hell, even Nuno beat your lot, and Ange did it three times in a season where we finished 17th! And we don’t need banners to speak the truth!

@adriesch_ @TikiTakaConnor Part of the issue is the FA/FL split. FA can relegate them from the Premier League, but they can only advise the FL on what they feel is appropriate punishment once they’re down That said, the FL is not obliged to admit them into the championship, only the league itself

@SeanGriffi2581 @TikiTakaConnor I’d add a ban from being submitted for European qualification the next five times they would have qualified. Technically it’s up to the FA who gets put forward regardless of where they finish/what they win (just ask Everton in 2005 or Spurs in 2013)

@malliber @designergirla Not at all…that’s letting him off the hook. There should be a huge financial penalty levied for every day he fails to attend from this point on, with the funds being given directly to charities supporting low income families, veterans and minorities

@paulrumbol @jonhotspur1988 How about the bit where they showed his refcam from before one of their corners where he called in Madders & their guy for grappling before it was taken, and he just said to their guy “the last thing we want is for you to score and I have to rule it out!” Or words to that effect!

@jonhotspur1988 Weird, because from what I saw Marmoush’s arm was only bent like that because he used a straight arm to hold the defender off fairly but it bent when the defender pushed back. The only way that goal wouldn’t have stood was if ref stopped play for a head injury, which he didn’t

@AdreMyles @thespursweb Tbf he wasn’t expecting to be a regular starter - which is fair given we had an England international and a Brazilian star ahead of him at the time - so he asked to leave to get it and we agreed Then only “poor treatment” is that we didn’t see him as first team ready

@Alanardo1989_ @Lea_EFC Which only happened AFTER the bear hug was locked in. And if you watch it in motion, rather than the convenient still you chose, you’ll see the direction of his motion showed he was trying to push away from the man squeezing him Oh…and now try and justify the man holding shorts

@AFCAAMIR @Lea_EFC Except there are two players holding the attacker. And the attacker is only really trying to push away from Gabriel AFTER the defender has his arms around him So no. The commentator is - shock - talking absolute balls!

@Cultaholic And beat Undertaker…you’d think they’d remember that given this is a near carbon copy of Trip’s promo which led to their WMX7 match in 2001
