So I’ve started Medikinet today instead of Concerta as Elvanse just isn’t available at all. Wish me luck! Has anyone got any experience with Medikinet? #askadhd
I had a general meeting at work and was putting my point across as well as I could and after the meeting I was told I was “very intense” and now I feel like I should have just sat in silence. RSD is running wild right now :(
I got back from holiday a week and a half ago and my suitcase is yet to be emptied… any bets on how long it will remain on my bedroom floor? 😅
Had my ADHD review the other day to try a different medication and the doctor asked for my BP, pulse and weight. It’s the only situation where I feel I am able to just say “I forgot” and it’s acceptable. He just laughed and told me to do it later and message him 😂
My Step-Mum spent all day decluttering and organising my house while I was at work because I’ve been off meds and really struggling lately. She also found my passport! I am so lucky to have my family ❤️
I’ve lost my passport and I go on holiday next week. I have broken down and gone to bed because I feel like an utter failure of a human.
I used all my spoons this morning so I’ve spent the rest of the afternoon lying in bed 🙃 but I’ve been productive and had a bath so actually practiced self care! That’s something!
Someone tell me how I’ve ended up leaving for work an hour early and only then realising when I’m nearby 🙃 maccies and Netflix for an hour it is 😂
Me and my family have had some world spinning news the past few days and I don’t know how to process or deal with it at all.
I am smashing this sexual health nurse life I can’t lie! 😁 feels so nice to enjoy work and not dread it.
Someone at work said I’m very quirky and fit in perfectly there. I wish I could go back and tell teenage me that there’s nothing wrong with me and to proudly be myself!
Does anyone have any tips on how to try and create a lasting routine? I now work 9-5 so have the opportunity for the first time ever to try and create some routine for myself☺️
I went to Download Festival last weekend and had the best time. But I was anxious about coping with the level of sensory input, especially noise. So I took my @loopearplugs and I cannot tell you how much they helped. I enjoyed all the music without it becoming overwhelming!👌🏼
I saw Parkway Drive at Download Festival and I’m now obsessed with them.

@elliemidds I think for me I feel uncomfortable claiming autistic traits because I don’t know enough about it and have some kind of imposter syndrome as if I’m “not autistic enough”. Not saying that’s right but it’s something I’m working to unlearn
