Always up to mischief. Constantly arguing with my dog and her cat. I have a lot of LEGO. croweturtle.blogspot.com Philadelphia, PA Joined January 2011

Last year after my sister Marisa passed, our dog Sadie took Marisa's elephant pillow and pulled it into her dog-bed. I guess Sadie wanted to keep her close.

@pussreboots @angiecthomas We're both lucky to still have all our fingers (and soul?). There's a cemetery right behind my house. Growing up, I would fall asleep looking at it out the window.

It may seem a strange thing to be excited about, but I got to spreadsheet today! Oh how I've missed dealing with data and spreadsheets and ... yeah.

Most inconvenient time of the year to run out of chapstick? December. Especially the week of Christmas. Stockings full of chapstick.

If the Hero rolls are made with semolina flour, what are the Villain rolls made with?

@keranpphic @oikawabbmine @laineytheclown @hoboulis Even as an adult, you can start reading in a target language by reading children's books. And I mean the ones for preschool/kindergarten age, not the chapter books. Much shorter and easier to grasp the context of words. Then as you advance, you move up in books.

I wouldn't let her lay under my chin, so she's pouting over my ankle. #QuarantineCat

@elektrotal Interesting. Is it just when in piles or the items in all their potential placements?

@EarthKidsRWeird Ehh, Spain was only recently "unified" and also problematic. No one wanted Columbus around. The only reason Ferdinand and Isabel sponsored his stupid idea was they wanted gold. I really wish the Italian-American narrative about him wasn't taught. It's utter trash.

Well, from 7-9 pm or so. That's when I'll have the gates open.

IsleDuPain is hosting K.K. for a concert in the plaza today. Apparently it's rain or shine. I'm going to open the island gate so let me know if you want the dodo code to stop by.

@Bibliogato Hmm. Me neither. And my bedroom window has looked out over a cemetery most of my life, so cemeteries are a regular feature for me.

@ElieNYC @rezaaslan At 17, the "stupid things" my friends and I did were making prank phone calls, applying nicknames to everything, staying up far too late every night... the stupid things we did were *not* putting others in danger or taking lives.

@EarthKidsRWeird It probably doesn't help when Ryan and I start messaging back and forth in the group chat at like... 1 am?

2020 has without a doubt been a terrible year. So I'll take even the smallest of wins. Medalla has finally made it to the beer distributors in my corner of this terrible world.
