My Dad was 72 when he had thoracic surgery at my recommendation. A few hours post op his Doctor switched his meds for pain from #OpioidRxs to antidepressants. He died a few hours later from a pain induced cardiac arrhythmia. He trusted me, and I have beaten myself up ever since.

Over the years since my doc began tapering me stopped my anxiety med I have been losing so much weight most days I'm not hungry and when I do it I have to becareful because everything makes my stomach hurt I'm getting weaker this is torture on chronic pain patients #CPP

@quinky_dink After reading the comments from other Drs. I'm dumbfounded at their ignorance. Funny how NONE of these professionals mentioned the cost difference between proven opiates & all of the "Off-Lable" use of other medications. #CPP's are nothing more than guinea pigs! #OurLivesMatter!
