@LimeGargoyle For accessing the old style ssis where the packages are in msdb, the technical answer is it needs to match the database engine version. I've had issues doing anything other than ssms locally. Really though, moving to the ssis catalog and being done with it is way better.

Friendly reminder to SSMS users...if you encounter a bug but don't log it on the feedback site (or confirm that someone else has logged it), then we can't fix it. Also, *we need specific steps to recreate, including the version of SSMS.* Please keep reading... 1/x
