@badlogicgames Word salad for breakfast! My addition - I need to work iteratively to understand *the problem*. And I “plan to throw one impl away” (or 2, or 3) as I really understand the problem and discover the right primitives. Only then can i hand off to ab agent

@NicKent789 @Brandon55110 @briannnhm @Nick_Meagher @ryan_doser13 lovable, base44... these are the right solution for many, especially early stage businesses/apps and builders that are not software engineers. building everything custom isn't for the faint of heart, and is more critical if/when you scale up.

@mitsuhiko agreed. with the latest models, we have seen another step change. must be the time of year or something.

@badlogicgames Thx for sharing. Enhancing languages to enforce higher level constraints is the future. Also like the “anchor” concept. I define “landmarks” - key abstractions, functions, invariants that drive my tooling - diagrams, agent perms, agent summaries.

@badlogicgames i hear ya, but we do have to separate better software from the "magic button". better software is, for the most part, better product design, better UX... vs. better code. unless your product's surface includes code (like pi).

@poteto @geoffreyHuntley skills are valuable but *way* over-hyped - the skills industrial complex is real. use pstack and other frameworks for inspo, but build/tailor your own. and determinism should be goal #1 as @geoff mentioned.

@poteto 💯- keeping to the software factory analogy... a factory is built to manufacture a specific product - which is the app's architecture (high quality primitives). enforcing the arch, dependencies, linting, mutation tests... has given me confidence to stop reading code
