This is not fear-mongering, this is the reality. Female college students have been followed home, Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthi, and PFLP flags waved, chants including "death to America," and more students than I can count have been physically assaulted.
I am urging you to please listen to us. I am writing as an American first and foremost. The administrators at these universities do not know what they are doing. They are hoping these protestors will just get up and leave, they are not going anywhere.
I implore every decent human to urge their representatives to speak up about this. This is not a right or left issue. This is a safety issue. For all of our students. It is time for us to wake up and smell the roses.
