City Oceanside taking two big steps forward on homelessness. Item 5a will create 50-bed shelter. Item 5b will create 59 units of permanent supportive housing for chronically homeless older Oceanside residents.

So, did we forget how to make stuff? The height of US consumerism may be that we only know how to buy what we need rather than produce it. Let’s help our sick and those caring for them by manufacturing needed supplies, and employing 6 million people who lost their jobs last week.
