@Philipbutcher1 @Omgemeraldddd Phillip you know darn well that’s not the point. Full time pay / benefits should be given if a person works 10-3 or 9-2, etc. We are so much more productive now, there is no reason besides greed that the standard is 40 hours, plus 30-60 mins daily required lunch and commute.

how come introverts are always pushed to speak up but nobody tells extroverts to shut the fuck up?

This shit is frying me

it’s so funny that straight men don’t know how to take good pictures of themselves and the ones that do are evil

@chelewillberg @OrevaZSN I feel far more isolated on my in office days. Having those extra 2.5 hours back enables me to go do things with people I actually enjoy being around after work. In office just means I go from home to work and home again and that’s it, all week. It’s exhausting.

@NicholasARamos @mimizima_ You can either consider yourself and your circle lucky, or you should check on your people.

micro dosing hell by staying informed and educated

idk who needs to hear this, but tv writers need to bring back the 22 episodes per season formula. bring back holiday episodes, birthdays, and fillers. i’m tired of having to wait a year or more for a season that has 6-10 episodes.

For us it is “look for the helpers and do what they are doing” and “look for the helpers and if you don’t see any, YOU’RE UP.” it is our job to BE the helpers. (Con’t)

Cancelling $4T in taxes for 815 billionaires but not $1.7T in student debt for 40M Americans is the modern version of let them eat cake.

Luigi Mangione’s alleged manifesto published by @kenklippenstein : “To the Feds, I'll keep this short, because I do respect what you do for our country. To save you a lengthy investigation, I state plainly that I wasn't working with anyone. This was fairly trivial: some elementary social engineering, basic CAD, a lot of patience. The spiral notebook, if present, has some straggling notes and To Do lists that illuminate the gist of it. My tech is pretty locked down because I work in engineering so probably not much info there. I do apologize for any strife of traumas but it had to be done. Frankly, these parasites simply had it coming. A reminder: the US has the #1 most expensive healthcare system in the world, yet we rank roughly #42 in life expectancy. United is the [indecipherable] largest company in the US by market cap, behind only Apple, Google, Walmart. It has grown and grown, but as our life expectancy? No the reality is, these [indecipherable] have simply gotten too powerful, and they continue to abuse our country for immense profit because the American public has allwed them to get away with it. Obviously the problem is more complex, but I do not have space, and frankly I do not pretend to be the most qualified person to lay out the full argument. But many have illuminated the corruption and greed (e.g.: Rosenthal, Moore), decades ago and the problems simply remain. It is not an issue of awareness at this point, but clearly power games at play. Evidently I am the first to face it with such brutal honesty.”

The most fun part of GNO at 29 is barking/hissing at men that hit on my friends. 10/10 would bark again.

Imma try to keep this brief but quick history lesson... this specific rhetoric is literally how the Nazi party rose to power. I studied abroad in Berlin and learned a lot about the Weimar Republic which I had never even heard of before. They don't teach it here on purpose (1/?)

Vaccines are good. Anti-depressants are good. Modern medicine is good. Fluoride in water is safe and protects teeth.

So between 1) banning ingredients that expand shelf life 2) halving the number of farm workers 3) tariffs on packaging I’m starting to think the “I’m voting for cheaper groceries” people might want to start making some phone calls. This looks like eight dollar eggs to me.

Have you ever watched a baby die of pertussis? I have. Several. This is what it looks like: A newborn baby can’t stop coughing. They can’t catch their breath and they can’t eat. They get dehydrated and stop peeing. They sometimes have pauses in their breathing. Parents are terrified so they come to the ER. In the ER, labs show they have a dangerously high white blood cell count. Their blood has become thick from the white blood cells and doesn’t travel through organs like it should. Less oxygen gets delivered to vital organs. They start to seize. Imaging reveals they had a stroke. They can’t pump blood to their lungs and body. A breathing tube gets placed in their trachea. They get put on a ventilator. A plastic catheter is placed in their veins and arteries to give them medicine and measure blood pressure. If they are lucky, they can make it to a #PedsICU that provides #ECMO, or full heart lung bypass. They are attached to machines that take over all their body functions. But it’s too late. Their hands and feet turn black because they can’t perfuse their bodies. Their faces turn grey/green. They won’t stop seizing from the brain injury. They are attached to too many machines to hold while alive and parents lay their bodies on top of them and cry until they fall asleep then cry again. There is nothing to do but stop the machines. Antibiotics to treat pertussis were given but were no match for the infections effects on a newborn baby. Parents finally hold their baby after the machines have turned off and their baby is cold and lifeless. Is this what you want? This is what RFK Jr will bring to American families.

Hard to overstate how bad this is: RFK jr will withdraw FDA approval of vaccines. Maybe mifepristone too. “States rights” won’t matter. He’ll dismantle the ability to respond to future pandemics. He’ll ban fertilizers/pesticides. Expect food to be less safe & more expensive.
