@HannahrhES I agree. After years in Berlin with no phone policies you just don’t think about it even being a thing, like when you could smoke inside pubs and clubs. Berlin clubs wouldn’t be the same if you could take pictures as everyone would be so self conscious.

Spider-Man surprises his biggest fan Brayan in the hospital and spends the day with him. Spider-Man (Mattia Villardita) wrote: "Believe me when I say this. I bow to you. I am honored to be friends with one of the greatest heroes I have ever known.”

@businessteshno In a good way or a bad way? There’s actually no thread or context. Appreciate you expose shady industry business and also occasionally support stuff you approve of but this is a good example of WTF? I’m fan of both @ikonika and @bok_bok so something to celebrate or debate?

1/4 ⚠️⚠️⚠️if you’re struggling to promote to DJs & you’re a new(ish) label/artist, I’m gonna do some free-of-charge mailouts ahead of Ibiza Closings & ADE... a decent % of my roster is minimal/'deep tech'/house, so if you don’t have the budget & need a hand - read the thread:

Infrastructural challenges in Electronic Music: 1. Any scene tied to legacy formats ideas are too slow for this fast world we live in. Your vinyl EP takes 4 months to come back from the plant. Profit from any money made takes 6 months to come back for you to be able to reinvest.

@djswisha_ @SoundCloud I know this seems totally daft but as it’s an open platform anyone can create a profile called DJ SWISHA. If you need help resolving just DM me. It’s just a case of being allowlisted by your label/distro. I work on the label team at SC.

Can we try to have one more conversation about USERCENTRIC? Set aside how it ends stream fraud. Ignore how it directly rewards time-spent with an artist. Sidestep how it redistributes to genres with fans. Don’t pay heed to it redistributing from the top 1% to the middle.
