@BrandonFalco121 Yes?

@0xRuzy I don't disagree, but didn't Sophia Coppola make a movie exposing this? Great soundtrack, btw.

1. USA military spending and NATO contributions enable Denmark to prioritize social benefits by reducing defense costs. 2. Denmark's high tax revenue, around 43% of GDP funds these programs (the average Dane pays between 45% to 50% of earned income in taxes to support the welfare state.) 3. Parroting Bernie (or any other politician) is, at best, intellectual laziness in my book.

Men v Women... NCAA college tournament: I’d argue the disparity in 14 vs. 3 seed upsets—and the excitement gap—stems from a rigged system favoring women’s basketball elites to maintain a predictable, marketable narrative. I’d claim the NCAA and media manipulate brackets, officiating, and player development to suppress chaos in the women’s game while letting the men’s tournament run wild for profit-driven drama. Evidence? The suspiciously perfect 0-120 record for women’s 14 seeds and the “too convenient” dominance of top teams—coincidence or control? If I were a conspiracy theorist, here’s how I’d spin the difference in upsets between the men’s and women’s NCAA tournaments, and why the men’s game feels more thrilling: The Grand Conspiracy: A Controlled Narrative The NCAA, in cahoots with media giants and corporate sponsors, has a vested interest in keeping the women’s tournament tame and predictable. Why? To prop up a handful of powerhouse programs—think UConn, South Carolina, Notre Dame—as untouchable dynasties. These blue-bloods are the cash cows, drawing consistent viewership and selling a polished, family-friendly story of excellence. Upsets, like those 23 times a 14 seed toppled a 3 seed in the men’s tournament since 1985, would disrupt this carefully curated script. Meanwhile, the men’s tournament is allowed to be a chaotic free-for-all because that unpredictability fuels gambling revenue, bracket pools, and viral moments—chaos equals cash. Bracket Manipulation The selection committee isn’t just picking teams—they’re stacking the deck. In the women’s tournament, 14 seeds are deliberately mismatched against 3 seeds with overwhelming advantages: home courts, superior talent, and refs in their pocket. That 0-120 record since 1994? Too perfect to be chance. They’re placing mid-majors like Stephen F. Austin in unwinnable spots, while in the men’s game, they let teams like Oakland or Abilene Christian sneak into winnable matchups to keep the upset machine humming. It’s not parity—it’s puppetry. Officiating Bias Ever notice how close women’s 14 vs. 3 games—17 single-digit losses—never tip the underdog’s way? That’s the refs, whistle in hand, ensuring the favorites stay on top. A late foul here, a missed call there, and suddenly Notre Dame’s 27-point win over SFA looks “natural.” In the men’s tournament, they let the calls slide—think Georgia State’s one-point stunner over Baylor in 2015—because a wild finish gets more clicks than a blowout. The fix is in: women’s games are scripted for stability, men’s for spectacle. Talent Suppression Player development’s part of the plot, too. Women’s stars stick around longer—fewer pros to jump to—so top teams hoard talent, turning 3 seeds into juggernauts. The NCAA and schools quietly steer elite recruits to these programs, starving mid-majors of upset potential. Men’s players, lured by the NBA, scatter talent across more teams, giving 14 seeds like Cleveland State (1986) or Mercer (2014) a fighting chance. It’s a deliberate chokehold on women’s parity to keep the excitement low and the dynasties high. The Excitement Differential Why’s the men’s tournament more thrilling? Because they want it that way. Upsets like Chattanooga over Georgia (1997) or Bucknell over Kansas (2005) are engineered chaos—bread and circuses for the masses. The women’s game, with its sterile 0% upset rate for 14 vs. 3, is a sanitized product, less about sport and more about selling a predictable brand. The NCAA knows drama drives men’s ratings, while women’s relies on star power—Hidalgo, Clark, Taurasi—not underdog tales. The Smoking Gun That 14.74% upset rate for men’s 14 seeds vs. 0% for women’s isn’t random—it’s a feature, not a bug. Those 17 close women’s games that never flipped? A tease to keep us guessing, but the outcome’s locked. The men’s 23 upsets, with 12 decided by three points or less, scream “let’s roll the dice,” while the women’s perfect record whispers “nothing to see here.” -Grok

"In a fully free society, taxation—or, to be exact, payment for governmental services—would be voluntary. Since the proper services of a government—the police, the armed forces, the law courts—are demonstrably needed by individual citizens and affect their interests directly, the citizens would (and should) be willing to pay for such services, as they pay for insurance." -Ayn Rand

These types of policies always have unintended consequences and will increase the incentives for income manipulation at a minimum. Now pair it with "no tax on overtime" and/or "no tax on tips." Taxation == Theft "When you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing... You may know that your society is doomed."
