Trying to relate every code change to a "ticket" is one of the most depressing things I've heard companies do. Might make sense in some contexts, but as a general rule it means folks won't continually improve code. This is how code becomes "legacy" that nobody wants to touch.
Don't confuse experience with expertise. Having faced a problem doesn't guarantee that you've mastered the solution. Don't mistake expertise for wisdom. Having deep knowledge doesn't guarantee that you know when it applies.

@Android @GooglePixels As for the phone which is not dead, making calls was completely unreliable on @Android 10. Speaker and/or microphone would just die mid-call and typically more or less hang the system. Back on version 9, phone calls seem once again perfectly fine.
I worry @Android 10 is killing my two @GooglePixels 1s. I managed to get one of them back to version 9. The other is completely lifeless after a few weeks of version 10.
If you had asked me when I was younger to to make a list of valuable skills, I probably wouldn't have included the ability to notice anomalies, but I'm increasingly convinced this is one of the most valuable skills of all.
The idea of spending (small amounts of) "quality time" with your kids is dangerously mistaken, because the best moments happen at completely random times. You not only can't predict them, you may not even know they've happened.

One of the dangers of TDD is that it vastly increases confidence. Over-confidence can lead to insufficient refactoring and attention to principles and patterns. You confidently make a mess.
A lot of programmers make the mistake of thinking the way you make code flexible is by predicting as many future uses as possible, but this paradoxically leads to *less* flexible code. The only way to achieve flexibility is to make things as simple and easy to change as you can.
