Today’s job numbers are not expected to be bad. However, we may see a slowdown in the manufacturing sector, as well as in several services sectors, such as leisure and hospitality. Foreign visitor numbers are declining, and domestic spending is also weak.
China is not engaging in discussions right now; they are just evaluating. No trade deals have been finalized yet, even though talks began in January with a few countries. For example, there has been discussion of a trade deal since Modi visited the White House. It’s China.
