When you care for others, you manifest an inner strength despite any difficulties you face. Your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. Reaching beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain confidence, courage and a greater sense of calm.

If love is defined as a wish that others be happy and compassion as the wish that they be free from suffering, and you cultivate love and compassion within yourself, it will ensure happiness, good health and peace of mind.

A source of trouble is our unruly minds. We can counter that by developing a warm heart. We need to effect an inner transformation, to understand that love and affection are a real source of joy.

Compassion is something really worthwhile. It is not just a religious or spiritual subject, not a matter of ideology. It is not a luxury, it is a necessity.

Modern education is premised strongly on materialistic values. It is vital that when educating our children’s brains that we do not neglect to educate their hearts, a key element of which has to be the nurturing of our compassionate nature.

Gonna keep it 💯: The biggest threats to journalism right now are tech monopolies & concentration of ownership. Healthy democracy *requires* high-quality journalism. W/o a wide range of independent outlets & the revenue to sustain them, our democracy will continue to crumble.

@realDonaldTrump The cost of undocumented immigrants is that they clean all of Trump’s dirty bedsheets and toilets at his golf resorts and hotels. Trump hires all these undocumented immigrants to save all this money for himself.

Hey @realDonaldTrump: You just called a lot of Americans fools. More people oppose your wall than support it. Also, here are some facts from your own Administration: -Border crossings are at an approximate 20 year low -Violent crime is down -Property crime is down #FactsMatter

Only fools, or people with a political agenda, don’t want a Wall or Steel Barrier to protect our Country from Crime, Drugs and Human Trafficking. It will happen - it always does!

74 years ago today the Auschwitz death camp was liberated. Today 44% of Americans don't know what Auschwitz was. For millenials it's 61%. Anti-Semitism is on the rise. These trends are connected. #NeverForget #NeverAgain #HolocaustMemorialDay #HMD2019

30s Berlin had more gay bars than modern London. This came to a brutal end when the Nazis took power. Over 50k gay men were held in concentration camps. Around 9,000 were murdered. After liberation gay men were rearrested and imprisoned #HolocaustMemorialDay #NeverAgain

@EdKrassen I disagree. It should go into the history books. This is how a con artist became president.

If Trump's presidency ends up being delegitimized by Robert Mueller's report, not only should Trump be impeached but his presidency should be annulled so that future history books don't need to recognize him as one of our Presidents. America is not a nation of cheaters.

@EdKrassen For the long term security of democracy in America and the world, it is imperative that he should be indicted if proof of wrongdoing is clear. It will also send a clear message abroad to organizations and states that America is not for sale. Changing History eBook on Amazon

President Trump should be INDICTED! An indictment would sent a precedent for all future presidents, letting them know that they can't use the office of the presidency to commit crimes and get away with them. Who's with me on this?
