I’ve come to realize that I enjoy having a small team, and at this time, I don’t see myself wanting to expand further. Our office is the perfect size for us, and our small but mighty team has the capacity to handle new clients without needing to grow.

I came from a firm that charged per form. I’d heard of hourly billing but hadn’t seen it in practice until now. I switched from per form pricing to value-based pricing when Schedules 1, 2, and 3 came out. It’s always interesting to see how firms price their services.

I've been sitting here for an hour comparing the tax return with the balance sheet, trying to figure out why they didn’t match. I finally realized I was comparing the end of 2023 return with the 2024 balance sheet. It's definitely time to go home.
