Almost 50% of these high school kids work full-time to support themselves, their families and/or their siblings. Your world and their world are not the same. Good JAG programs are worth their weight in gold.

My experience with business books: They don't tell you what to do, but they give you enough good data so you can figure it out yourself. And because you figured it out yourself you're more likely to retain it.

These kids have 5+ roadblocks to success. Could be low income, single-parent households, criminal charges, and much more. For the last 4 years, they’ve been told they aren’t smart enough for college. That they aren’t good enough. Please consider donating for their classroom.

I don't think most adults understand that the majority of academic efforts in K-12 schools are still geared toward creating a 5-paragraph essay as THE demonstration of learning.
