There is something very lacking (it’s the American Spirit) in anyone that prefers air travel over a road trip. Meanwhile average millennial or zoomer above mouth breathing intelligence has been so abused by advertising they are sufficiently more capable of tuning out the bs and/or exercising healthy levels of skepticism.

Key turning point in life a few years back: first unironic use of “howdy” as a greeting. I shall never turn back and can only hope this forges a path to relieve me of any lingering “damn yankee” status among my southern brethren.
