@alejandragold42 @krassenstein How many times I have heard this: a Republican who just voted Democratic - and it is never true.

@krassenstein A lot of accusations without proof. There are a lot of accusations against Ilhan Omar. How do you feel about voting for her?

@NYdbagRedux @Ladybir36484494 Is that why million died in Russia, China and continue to die of deprivation in N. Korea, because of capitalism? Not that its economic system suck in providing for the masses.

@Ladybir36484494 Communism has alway resulted in disasters. More people have died, usually by starvation, in communist countries than killed by the NAZIs. It is not even close. There are always excuses why it failed. If worked, I would be a communist, but it increases suffering!

@RichardGrenell If we had started building back in the 1980's, we could have eliminated all coal and gas power plants in N. America and Europe. Fewer people have died from Chernobyl than coal every year. None in Fukushima

@RichardGrenell But it was never really about clean energy. It was political and economic about limiting energy to limit growth and capitalism. The 3 arguments is waste, too long to build and Chernobyl. The waste volume is small and non-radioactive waste is toxic forever.>>

@kirienjw @howAbou44554157 @earlyamhistory @TrashPandaFTW @olex_scherba So, by your very own words, not boycotting Russian oil to protect American wallets is bull shit. Fact is the Greens want higher gas prices, but were shocked by the negative reaction! latimes.com/archives/la-xp…

@kirienjw @JulieLvsDean2 @HamillHimself It would harm him in the polls! But if the Biden had not reversed our oil independence, he could do it. It is a cop out not to do the morally right thing. Where is the "no war for oil" crowd now?

No matter your views, no propaganda is as potent and difficult to resist as war propaganda. The more complete the societal consensus, the less room for questioning, the harder it becomes. It becomes a closed system. It targets our deepest emotions and instincts. Good thread: 👇

A lot of people asked me why I posted about ignoring the Ukrainian/Russian war. I don't know war, but I do know media, and everything about how the war is being covered is sending up major red flags to me. Two quick examples:
