I know the $ALTG quarter wasn’t great, but come on it wasn’t that bad! Cheap stocks can always get cheaper, but these guys should do well in the long run. Would like to see them buy back some stock sub $9, the balance sheet can handle it

Either we are going to get some pretty amazing nominal GDP growth over the next few years, or SPX is quite over valued at 20x forward EPS. I’m short SPX (through deep ITM calls) covering about half my equity portfolio. Given rates, you get paid quite well to short SPX calls

Alternative take: a strong jobs report is a good thing. We need more supply of goods & services. Therefore, more people producing those services (increasing supply) is a good thing. We need companies to hire people to produce more stuff to meet demand
