@othomn @ODI_Global Delighted with media interest and reactions. Some headlines suggest that Europe is making a profit from the fees, which is not the point : fees cover the processing of applications, not the outcome. But the unequal rejection rates in some countries is a very high price to pay!

On visas, still 🚨🚨 How easy is it to visit the UK 🇬🇧 for business or leisure? Well, it depends. China, Turkey and Nigeria lodge similar numbers of applications. Yet Nigerians are twice as likely to have a visa rejected than Turks and four times the Chinese. Why? 🤔 #visa
