This is exactly the reason why I give only a couple of rows of dummy data - candidates have been able to import it to their IDE of choice and start working. I'm also excited to provide a Quarto book with sqlite wasm so that there's no need to move data at all.

Hi #MicrosoftFabric folks, what's the best way to share data across an org that loves having data in Excel? Provide access to Dataflows, use live connected tables or use something else altogether?

the more I work with #fabric DWH, the more i don't get why profesional data engineers give the impression that DWH are some sort of secret complicated piece of tech, it is BS, if you are comfortable building a model in #PowerBI desktop then DWH is not that different after all !!!

Looking at workspace permissions for #MicrosoftFabric #OneLake: how do I allow read access to the Lakehouse but not write access? Viewer role can't read the lakehouse directly but the Contributor role and write data🤔

#PowerBI the live connection feature that exports data to Excel is not capped at 500,00 rows, you just have to modify the generated DAX statement lol

Looking at summarise()/reframe() in the new dplyr version makes me think that summarise() is just a flavor of map() - why have a separate function instead of list cols? #rstats

Need guidance on #PowerBI: setting up incremental refresh through Dataflow is VERY easy but then Dataflow>Dataset does a full load each time, is that normal behavior? I would prefer to avoid incremental load through #PowerQuery because of all the extra steps 😕
